Write, Learn, and Grow

Join the Block

A program for people working hard towards sustainable funding

A fully funded organization means you can affect more change in the world, but it’s hard to figure out where to find more revenue streams.

Messaging is critical: your mission has to be stellar and your vision amazing in order to captivate the community and potential donors.

That’s a lot of pressure.
Where do you even start?
How do you write effectively?
What tools do you need?

Join The Writer’s Block – a community of fellow organizers writing for good

Whether you’ve never written a grant before and want high quality training, or you’re a writing pro and need a second pair of expert eyes to help you win the grant: this community is for everyone

At Funding For Good we have 20+ years of experience helping organizations train, grow, and build sustainable funding models.

We know that grant writing isn’t the answer to all of your funding needs.

In The Writer’s Block we’ll help you:

  • Write for greater impact
  • Strategically plan to help you stay on track
  • Pivot when needed
  • Find new sources of funding

Be part of a whole community of peers and experts who are there to help your organization grow for only $95/month – the lowest cost for the greatest impact.

I like the simplicity in which Mandy explains processes. Over the past year I’ve written 17 grants, 6 that were new and received a total of $374,000. I attribute that to the great training and grant reviewing from Mandy.

Our organization struggled for a few years with volunteers attempting to write grants blindly. The Writer’s Block has been priceless, and we have received over $14,000 in grants the past year. The ongoing contact with webinars, training, and Facebook through The Writer’s Block program provide support and motivation we needed as a small organization with limited resources.

Terms and Conditions

Each member can submit 1 grant proposal for review by Funding For Good, Inc. monthly (excluding Federal/State grants. Contact mandy@fundingforgood.org for additional information on Federal/State grant review options).  Each proposal must be submitted by the last Monday of each month to allow for an appropriate amount of review time in a Word document. If a proposal is not submitted for review during any month, that opportunity will be forfeited as these benefits do not ‘roll-over’.

By providing a credit card or other payment method accepted by Funding For Good, Inc. for your Writer’s Block subscription, you are expressly agreeing that we are authorized to charge you a monthly fee. If you want to use a different Payment Method than the one you signed up to use during registration, or if there is a change in your credit card validity or expiration date, you may edit your Payment Method information by emailing mandy@fundingforgood.org.

The program fee will be billed at the beginning of your subscription and on the same day of each month of your subscription period. We automatically bill your Payment Method the same day monthly.

Ongoing Programs and Cancellation. Your Writer’s Block registration will continue in effect unless and until you cancel your subscription or the account or service is otherwise suspended or discontinued. You must cancel your subscription at least 48 hours before it renews each subscription period in order to avoid the next billing. We will bill the program fee to the Payment Method you provide during registration (or to a different Payment Method if you change your account information). To change the card or account billed, you must contact PayPal. If you cancel your subscription, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current Monthly or Annual Subscription Period – this means that you will have continued access to The Writer’s Block for the remainder of that period, but you will not receive a refund. You can cancel your Writer’s Block subscription by emailing mandy@fundingforgood.org and using “Cancel Subscription” in your subject line with a brief note in the email.
