Why Are We Doing This?

Consultants asked for it and we are delivering! After a successful inaugural nonprofit consulting conference in 2022, participants reached out to say they want MORE. They want more targeted training, ready-to-use tools, and opportunities to network with diverse colleagues in the field.

Mandy Pearce from Funding for Good and Holly Rustick from Grant Writing and Funding, two leading experts in the sector, are partnering once again to deliver a no-nonsense, high-impact, virtual conference for consultants who are ready to learn and engage.

Why offer a 2-day nonprofit consulting conference to share our top timesaving tips and secrets to success?

That’s easy. There is more than enough work to go around and in the consulting world “one size truly does not fit all.” Our conference organizers and presenters believe that nonprofits are the heartbeat of our communities. When nonprofits reach out for support, they deserve to contract consultants who have the skills and experience to help them be successful. Consultants deserve to work in the field they love without compromising their personal health and income.

Optimizing Discovery Calls: Securing High-Converting Clients

Discovery calls are how many nonprofit consultants meet with potential nonprofit clients. This 'getting-to-know-you' call is a place where you can identify if you can meet the needs of a nonprofit client and if you are a good fit. Additionally, this is how you can pitch your services. However, too many nonprofit consultants say that they have low conversion rates during these Discovery Calls. Fortunately, your conversion rate can be increased with a mind-shift reset and a formula. Click here to learn more.
What we’ll cover:

  • What questions you need to ask the nonprofit (Yes, flip this interview)
  • Script-answers-in-your-pocket to those pesky questions
  • SOP onboarding musts
  • The formula of having high-converting discovery calls

If you want to increase your conversion rates during your discovery call and get ideal nonprofit clients, then be sure to attend this session!

Nonprofit Consulting Conference Online 2023 Speaker

Holly Rustick, CFRE

Nonprofit Consultants have this to say about our previous Conferences…

“ALL the presenters were excellent!!! Shout out to Holly and Mandy! Great content. So much to process. Just the right length for sessions. Terrific Sponsors! But the networking breakouts were the best. OH, and the Playlist!!!”

“Thanks to this amazing conference and one coaching call with Mandy I was SO excited to hire my first employee! Thank you ladies for ALL you do for us consultants. In the past year I feel like I have finally left my silo of 6 years and found my professional tribe.”

“You all did an amazing job. Thanks for a fantastic two days of learning.”

“I have presented for countless in-person and virtual conferences. Working with NPCC was probably the first time I truly felt that the organizers wanted me to get as much as I could for my business out of participating. The care and thought that went into selecting the line up, making sure I was excited about what I was presenting and the many, many opportunities to engage with attendees made this a truly exceptional speaker experience for me.”

“This exceeded expectations. Each speaker was a homerun. They were generous with their time and sharing their expertise. Wow! just WOW!”

“It [NPC] was just what I needed to give me the confidence to take my business to the next step. I was struggling feeling like an imposter…forgetting how much I have already done helping launch 2 nonprofits and starting my own businesses. It was great getting to network with other consultants and get some concrete help planning how to serve clients better. My confidence increased….And …I raised my rates! I have had 3 new prospect calls this week and am in the process of setting up 2, 40k contracts with new clients after the conference.”

“I increased the rate on a proposal that was in progress, created my mailchimp account and invited my spreadsheet list to add themselves, and got all fired up by Dr. Bev!”

“It’s been such a great conference today. Really enjoying the sessions and networking.”

“Every session was incredibly valuable!”

“All of the speakers were amazing! But I would say that I learned the MOST from Mandy Pearce, Holly Rustick, and Dr. Bev. Those particular sessions gave me new ideas that I will begin to implement immediately and that I think will reap significant benefits for my consulting business!!”

“Holly’s advice during the NPCC about having a discovery call policy really hit home. I immediately got into action and set up my own policy, modeled largely on hers. I am excited to set higher standards for people who want my time! Thanks, Holly.”

“It really was (helpful), I didn’t think it (growing your team) would apply to me but it got me excited to continue growing my business over the next year.”

“I love Mandy and Holly because they are complete professionals and warm and friendly and they thought of a lot of things up front that made saying yes easy. Attending the conference was a no-brainer. These things can be challenging during the summer because of vacation and back to school issues but the topics selected made it a no-brainer. As a speaker I thought the communications were excellent and thoughtful and the compensation amounts were completely fair. Overall I would definitely encourage other people to consider presenting in this conference because it is a terrific way to showcase your thought leadership and sector leadership.”

“To the organizers – you all were so energetic that it made this conference a fun learning experience. To the speakers – I appreciated the passion for sharing their knowledge and skills to train others. I learned so much and grateful for the wisdom!”

“Incredible job everyone! I greatly appreciated the open and honest discussions during the presentations and in the chat box.”
